For Tiny Feet

For me, one of the most frustrating parts of wedding planning was the search for shoes. The search lasted way longer than the one for the dress, because 1) they had to be vegan and 2) they had to come in a size 5, which isn’t very common apparently. So for those with tiny feet for myself, here’s a roundup of some awesome animal and wedding-friendly shoes.

Paris Here I Come *

* In a few years, that is…

The hubby and I often dream of our time in Paris on our honeymoon: our long walks, admiring the architecture and munching on the best cheeses and desserts of our lives. We talk constantly of going back. I may or may not bring it up every other day.

Here’s a shot hubby took on one of our daily walks. Romantic, no?

Happy Anniversary, Jay and Katie!

One year ago today, I was coordinating Jay and Katie’s wedding at the Robinson Ranch. They were originally supposed to get married in 2011, but due to some health issues, they had to postpone their wedding day.

When I work with my clients, I can’t help but develop a connection with them. Their wedding day will always be engrained in my memory, but especially Jay and Katie’s. I remember tearing up at their first dance, and when Katie’s father gave his toast, oh forget it! I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house. So I’m especially happy to have helped this sweet couple, and their incredibly kind family. Thank you for insisting I be a part of the rehearsal photos, even though I whined about being camera shy (because I am!!)!

On the Past

Anyone else having one of those weeks where all you want to do is drop everything and get away? It’s been a long week.

I was going through our honeymoon photos from our backpacking adventure in Europe and will slowly share them with ya’ll.

First up, here’s Cassis, France. I loved this little town on the Mediterranean. We went for a boat ride around the calanques, and thanks to a last minute trip to the market for crackers, no sea sickness for me!
